SECRET SERVICE PLANS INTERVIEW OF EMINEM AFTER 'PRESIDENT DEAD' RAP

**Exclusive**

The Secret Service is planning to conduct an interview with rapper EMINEM, government sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT, after a new song by the artist appeared on the Internet -- a song that wished the "president dead!"

MORE

"We take all matters involving comments made about the death of a sitting president very seriously," a well-placed government source directly involved in the matter said this weekend. "This matter will be investigated fully, and I expect Mr. Mathers will be interviewed directly."

The Secret Service has reviewed a studio quality version of the track WE AS AMERICANS.

MORE

"Personally, I found it quite alarming and reckless," the federal official said.

In the song, the rapper declares he would not perform only for cash: "I don't rap for dead presidents," Eminem says. "I'd rather see the president dead. It's never been said, but I set precedents and the standards, and they can't stand it!"

No determination has been made regarding the song and if it constitutes a direct threat against President Bush, the official explained.

I thnk Eminem has a right to speak his mind. If that's how he feels, the government can't curb his speech.

They need to leave eminem alone. Everyone hates Bush and its getting to a basic visceral hate--from Eminem to John Kerry to Howard Dean to the Colonel.

whether or not I agree or disagree with the sentiment, he has the right to say whatever he wishes-

it's not like we'll all be forced to listen to the "song"
unless you let mainstream radio and TV dictate your audio visual diet...

Well, Bush has proven that he's a "uniter." He has united everyone on the planet against him. Once he is out of office, I think the world is gonna have a party and breathe a sigh of relief.

Perhaps I repeat myself too much, but again, I'd like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that Jodie Foster looks better than ever, and is single!

No sweat - Eminem isn't going to have any problems because he has $ and fame. If one of us were do do something like that, we'd have a nice SS agent at our door to remind us we aren't him.

I bet Em has a FBI file already.

That is total Bull $h!t, It's a F'n song. Fredom of speach? Does anyone really think that eminem is going to do anything to the president? It is stupid, this is just another attempt by the facist right to censor music that they don't like. They are probibly still mad about the things he said about them (Dick Cheney, Bush etc.) on the Eminem Show.

wow what a shock eminem makes a song about wishing yet another person dead.

he hates his mom, he hates gay people, he seems to have a lot of hate and seems to enjoy clinging onto it like a whino clutching his last bottle.

i think its just sad that anyone would find it acceptable that he wishes someone dead. he's a lowly piece of scum full of anger and hatred and is a pretty poor excuse of a human being. even with those i 100% disagree with politically i dont wish dead and never will. its one thing to disagree with bush's politics, quite another to wish him dead and eminem DOES have a record of violence. shall we pull his criminal record for you? thats one record he DOESNT want people to know about him having.

is the guy serious? i dont know but given his past and how bitter and angry the guy is at the world it seems, i wouldnt put anything past him.

he's free to speak his mind all he wants but what he did was uncalled for morally if not criminally.

and not much surprise colonel backs eminem. the two are very much alike.

Wow, first the Dixie Chicks were snubbed by all of the music world for having an oppinion other than the party line of the whitehouse and now Eminem is on the block as well. Of course if they hoped to ruin his career the government is sadly mistaken. Kind of scary to think we cant even write a song or speak our minds without fear of reprisal by the government. Don't they have something better to do with thier time than harass eminem, like perhaps delivering proof of the WMDs that never existed, or even better retrieving Hussien and Osama from under their respective rocks?

Well, we do have freedom of speech - as long as it's what the government wants to hear! As soon as someone makes such statements (Dixies, Em) then they're forced to apologize or recant.

Yeah, how true that seems, though to the best of my recollection the 1.st Ammendment of the Bill of Rights didnt say "freedom of popular speech" but I'm sure the whiteout making that chnage has long since dried. Just glad they havent gone after some of my favorite political bands yet
