In the Jehovahs witness translation of the bible it talks of Jehovah bringing about a new world order. Is this the same new world order that the illuminati is bringing about?

I don't think its much of anything. I mean there are so many synonym phrases for "New World Order" but its only when people use the specific term "New World Order" that it catches the attention of conspiracy nuts.

Ahem.. take it that by the term you used was directed at me. IM NO NUT.My topic is a relavant question considering jws say all that oppose them will be killed in gods war.Jws recruit in vast numbers rising daily,if they were right wouldnt that scare you?

Wow, not sure what to say other than I don't think so. I was raised as a JW until I rebelled at about age 15. There were just WAY too many questions about the religion itself that the elders couldn't answer for me. 15+ years later, I really just see them as a bit of a cult that uses fear as a means of recruitment.

To each their own.....

Actually, now that I thought about it for a minute, maybe they are. I remember my uncle was a very well respected elder in his church and I recall him wearing a very large ring with the masonic symbol. (The architect's compass) Granted, he was a GC, but who knows what goes on behind closed doors.

Thanks for the replies people much apprieciated.I dont want to cause any offence to others, so lets not get sidetracked into name calling and just stay on topic. The jws god could be the same god the illuminati serve. Jws think satan is in control...

Wow a first person account of a jw with a masonic ring. Thanks, just one person saying it is good. For the record I rebelled and left the jws at 15.What i Didnt know in your post was the term gc?

GC= General Contractor. He had his own construction firm, so it could be innocent enough and just be a ring he got for being an architect. He was however, quite arrogant and aloof (like he and his family was better than anyone else.) Being in the leadership position within the church that he had, and the knowledge of the NWO that I have now does make me think about things I had taken for granted in a slightly more analytical way.

Yes, the JW's do think that Satan is controlling things here on earth. I still feel somewhat conflicted in my religious choices, but now days, I'm more of a spiritualist than anything else. I strongly believe that there is a higher power than ourselves and if you live your life as pure an honest as possible, then hopefully, there's something good waiting us at the end of the ride.

JW's DO believe that there will be a NWO, but it won't be led by men. As was said, they believe that Satan runs things now(hard to dispute that with the way things are) but that God will again take the Earth back. See the Lord's Prayer,

"Our Father, who art in heaven,

Hallowed be thy Name.

Thy kingdom come.

Thy will be done,

On earth as it is in heaven.
"

It's not a gov't by men though, it's God's gov't.

So I wouldn't worry about JW's and the Masons, Illuminati, or anything of this world. They are looking at a totally different deal.

I don't think so. the JW think that only a select few will get into heaven. And I don't think they would be too good at running the world. Everyone would be too annoyed.

Yup, the 144,000.

Nope, they believe that the Heavenly gov., Big J and the 144,000 would be doing this, not man.

Well shesh that doesnt give the rest of us too much reason to play along does it? I dunno last time the big j was hanging around the earth he aparently had some good ideas but got himself nailed to a tree for it.

And besides an all loving god being so selective? why then would the JW be so "i need to save you!" all the time. I would figure that if they had their group then all is good and they would just wait for the end.

Depends on what you're looking for I guess. JW's don't want to go to Heaven, they want to live on a paradise Earth under the Heavenly gov. See the Lord's prayer again.

They believe that it their Christian duty to share with ALL humankind. Still, this precludes any human NWO.

Duty or not, it doesnt make any sense. If they are going to try and save your soul and your hosed anyway, what is the point. They could least have the decency to be selfish about it

Your right though it doesnt fit in with the popular idea of the NWO looks more like a prophisized world order thain one created and ruled by man.

Bingo! That's what they believe.

Hope I've been helpful.

Very, thank you, I was rather ignorant about JW theology.

However one small detail I did overlook in this. The lords prayer. Doesnt, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven refer to the general rules that the big G laid down in the first place?

Things like gravity light water and such. wasnt that the Will that was described? Also doesnt the bible talk also about what we hold true on earth he will honor in heaven?

What about the aparent rapture when the "rightious" (SP) asend into heaven and the rest of us get left behind? Is that when the JW's are going to take over runing the show with the big G?

No problem with this but it's WAY off topic. If you wish, open a thread in Faith, Spirit. in BTS or I could share this with you via u2u. That goes for anyone else.

I'm not looking for converts, I was raised JW, I just understand it. And yes, I was disfellowshiped. Just denying ignorance.

Whoops sorry, went off on a rant there. But your point of view is justifiable as it is the belief system of the JW and as far as their version of the NWO goes. I don't think that things are as bad as it would take for their version of the NWO to come to pass.

The NWO is suposed to be the ten kingdoms of the beast is it not? or just a one world government that is controlled by the elite. Not the JW, that hopefully have good intentions on what to do with the earth if they come to power.
