Out of these three, which one will you remember the most years from now?

The Death of James Brown
The Death of President Ford
or The Death of Saddam Hussein?

My vote goes for the godfather of soul. He had a much larger impact on my life than any of the other two.

Hmmm,
Hi Simulacra/
So, you think James Brown because he was the ''godfather of soul'' huh!
My vote would have to go to the godfather who took souls!
Saddam Hussein!

Merry Christmas to all and a Happy new year ahead!

Well with the passing of Gerald Ford, it quickly brought me back a few years to when Reagan passed on. Both great men with positive impacts, but I would not consider this to be the most memorable of the deaths.

The passing of James Brown is a sad one, but he too does come up short in this list.

Ultimately, Saddam Hussein is second to no one when it comes to his passing. The man is equated with names like Adolph Hitler and Joseph Stalin. Unfortunately, these are names that overshadow American Presidents or music icons.

Put me down for Saddam as well. Especialy when you think about the imopact his death will have in the mid-east.

I say Hussein because the world at large trumps poor James.

I hate death, murders and anything final.

I also have to say Hussein.
Because it will go down in history as an important event.
And also because of how he died.

Hangings trump death by natural causes.

I would have to say Hussein, because his country has been the bane of our existence for the last few years. I know logically that the war was about revenge and oil but we have heard about his WMDs and the way he treated his people and his crimes against humanity nonstop for what almost 4 years now. I was too young when Ford was in office to remember much of anything about him and ditto for Brown.

I would say Hussein because people don't easily forget a terrifying evil character such as he.
