1 to climb the ladder and unscrew the bulb.
3 to come to a consensus that the old bulb is burnt out (they each shake it by their ears and take a vote)
5 to decide on the proper wattage of the new (flourescent) bulb (You know those suckers aren't as bright as they say they are...)
12 to open the packaging without breaking the new bulb!

cheif suspects are :

the 9/11 conspiracists . who claim that the bulb was the emmitter array for secret government holograms of planes and other stuff

or it might have been :

the NWO conspiracists . who claim that the bulb was a strobe , flashing subliminal mind control orders to thier heads

some suspect :

religious extremists . who claim that the light was not " gods light "

also in the frame are :

the other [tm] religious extremists : who claim that the bulb was a symbol of the devil , specifically lucifer [ the moring star ]

crypotozoologists may have smashed the bulb as they claim it scares away big foot

environmentalists want the bulb smashed because they claim its " carbon foot print is too big "

although we do not have a sub forum astronomy buffs from science and technology are planning to smash the bulb as part of the " dark skies initative "

the R.A.T.S. ran away when the bulb came on , and have been hiding ever since - though we can hear them chattering in the darkness



of course , there are those who want the bulb , and go to great leghs to defend it :

some ufologists claim it attracts curious aliens , and want a bigger bulb , which can be seen from space - as well as a semaphore key so they can flash messages to the mother ship

although alien abductees want to sleep with the light on cos they claim it stops them getting abducted and probed

scholars from the research forum want the light on cos weithout it we cannot read our books

tinkerers from weapons technology want to modify the bulb so they can turn it into a 3.1gW death ray

members of the secret societies want to build thier lodge around the bulb so that only they can be illuminated

appologies i have not covered every ATS forum , as i hoped to - but have run out of steam - i will try an encore later

I say that 'The Overlords' sounds like a great title for a simpsonesque if not futuramaesque cartoon.

well maybe that fact that they haven't locked it yet means it's just one of a string of recent posts that seem to prove an ats t&c point.

Well, I'm honestly not surprised by the author's comments based on his post history and contributions on this board. I'm sure a lesser community will suit him better.
