The Gods have Spoken - Indonesia about to be wiped off the planet

The latest rounds of floods in Indonesia killing over 80 people this week reminded me of an email sent to me by this South African Christian who claimed to have been forwarned in visions of events about to come.

He claimed that Indonesia was a sign of the beginnings of disaters and plagues about to exponentially increase. He specifically stated that Indonesia would be hit with catastrophic floods and earth quakes.

I can't help but think that if something major happens again in Indonesia that I would be warning people there to flee. I hope he was wrong but he seemed sincere and was only trying to warn me to get ready as Australia was also going to be hit with Fires and droughts.

Guess what ? its the dryest here on record ( major droughts everywhere ) and just last week the southern state of Victoria burnt out thousands of kilometres of bushland.

I hope this is nothing.

One thing is that as Christian i have to think logically and spiritually about things. One thing is that yes it seems well on the mark like some type of sign. But on my logical note you will realise that Indonesia is made up of probably volcanic islands which form all the time. The zone is prone to a few shakey movements its natural. But at the same time you have to think that there are events that are meant to happen and have been building up to fullfillment and the disaster is not about the earthquake its about people.

You know it's possible that the areas of Indonisia, Australia and the Polynesian Islands have a tendency to sink one day. There is a lengend out there that states that an ancient continent once existed in the Pacific ocean and then one day it sank and the high moutain tops became the islands we see today. The lost continent was called Mu. This theory would explain how animals migrated to Australia from the mainland and then were cut off from returning when the ajoining land sank into the ocean when Mu was lost.

good point about them disappearing, the Galapagos islands are slowly sinking as well.

But there is a reason that these things happen to Indonesia, the volcanic activity and the climate kind of make these things expected. Im not one to scoff at religious prophecies but this does sound like BS to me. Of all the countries who deserve the wrath of god, Indonesia has to be pretty low on the list.

How could they disappear, thats a lot of rock there. I can see the possibility of more big earthquakes, more eruptions, maybe Toba, but not the disappearance of the Land itself.

Indonesia is on a subduction zone, yes, but the Indian ocean plate is sinking, not Indonesia, as if it were otherwise the volcanoes wouldn't be there.

please don't bring the rapture into this, it will be after the disasters anyway.

I am merely bringing forward the information relayed to me via this South African Christian who had a series of visions. You wouldn't have normally heard about his visions as he is a very private man, the fact that my country is experiencing exactly what he claimed to have fortold is eery to say the very least.

In his defence he made no claims about when the catastrophes would occur but that there would be a steady increase in numbers, duration and intensity.

As far as the species die off happening around the world I can attest to what has happened here in Western Australia. Fish species like Tailor and Salmon are no longer in the vast numbers they were 5 years ago. The Blue Manner crab which has been prolific has experienced big downturn in numbers and whole area's have become off limits to fishing like Cockburn Sound.

More death on a large scale in Indonesia, it looks to me like the warnings are being sent as its the largest musilm nation on earth. What the Aceh people did to the christians there was reprehensible and I would think an affront to God.

Watch out Inodesia something big is coming your way.

and which specific actions are you talking about?

and also, since when were natural disasters religious conspiracies or direct punishment from god?

#1 No God is punishing them because of their actions.

#2 The bit were the Aceh Muslims killed enmasse all the missionaries

it's not supported by historical evidence

I believe this set of events were mostly attributed to a volcanic eruption in Greece.

Well I guess your into this Akhenaten monotheistic story being robbed by the jews and used as thier own ancestoral beginnings. I wont argue there as I have some scepticism of the whole out of Egypt thing myself.

The second comment you made on my God being a cruel sadistic $%^&# is interesting as you could adopt the "7 days of creation then he let it be" principle along the lines of the Gnostics but you could equally lean towards the Gaia Mother and its she who is punishing the wicked .

Which ever way you want to look at things one thing remains constant - people will always disagree on the meaning of life.

Very interesting and scary predictions there, I am a Christian and I believe something is gonna go down, I hope these predictions are false, though they may as well be true as I believe we are near the end of days.

because not everyone believes in your god.

do you not think that muslims think that the infidels deserve being on the end of terrorism? Everyone directing hate through their gods is going to achieve nothing. What makes your god any more valid than their god?

?? 80 souls lost, although sad, seems hardly the dire beginning of such prophetic catastrophe to be leveled against the farflung islands nation of Indonesia....

i'd be equally un-impressed if this concerned 'seer' of sorts, E-Mailed a group of people saying that "starvation & genocide will exponentially increase among & towards Africans, in the future"

Er, sorry, there is only ONE God, and he does not approve of murder of any kind, men are the ones who murder, not God.

Your god does murder, and calls for murder. It is evident all throughout the Old Testament. "His" words, have condemned millions to death and suffering.

so you hold religious views that are the compatible with Muslim, Hindu, Jainist, Sikh, Catholic, Scientology? Obviously there is more than one god in the minds of different faiths. Men murder in their god's name, because they think it is what god would want.
