How do I put a link to images I want to post??

I have been on here a long time and I still dont know how you guys put a link for a pics..

For example:
Someone might have a computer game image they want to put and the link says "cool game pic" in red, all I know how to do is paste the actual link in so the pics comes up on the thread page.

Can someone explain this to me plz???

ok if you want the img to show in the post you can use



you can also resize it.
as in:




if you want to hyper link something click on the earth icon

or you can type it out like so

name of the link

Just trying it out:

img212.imageshack.us...[/IMG]]Dog Eater!!!

Ok that doesn't work, I clicked on the earth link and I want to call it Dog Eater!!! But the above link is all that happens.

I want it so the name of link says Dog eater and it leads to this pic


Any more explanation plz???

That is exactly what I meant but I dont know how to do it.
I clicked the earth link and typed the name and then the actual link in the second box but all that happen was the invalid link up top.

Plz explain how you did this or what i'm doing wrong...

I typed this by hand (or copy/paste) :

Do you know how to do it with the hyperlink tab?

First box says what name should be shown
And second box asks for the pic url

I assume it should put the name you want to the url but all I get is this

img212.imageshack.us...[/IMG]]Dog Eater!!!

Nope, I never use it

If you want a link-only for an image, then you should not include any [img] or [/img] tags anywhere in your link...

I'm use imageshack and it's the direct link you want to use...

first you click it
enter what you wanna call the link
2nd it ask for the url
