U.K makes last payment on WW2 Debt !!

Amazing but true, some 61 Years after the End of WW2 the United Kingdom has made its final payment to discharge itself from the last of its WW2 loans !

On 31 December, the UK will make a payment of about $83m (£45.5m) to the US and so discharge the last of its loans from World War II from its transatlantic ally.

The cost of War, amazing isnt it, Begs the Question how many decades will the WOT be paid off over ? Will it ever be paid ? Maybe its all done on credit with no intention of paying it back ?
