Tottenham: Van Vennegoor Spurs link

Dutch international striker Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink is flattered by reported interest showed in from Tottenham.

However, he has insisted that no talks have taken place and that he is looking to extend his stay at PSV Eindhoven.

"It is always nice when your name is called," said Vennegoor, who has recently won his place back in the Dutch national squad. "And of course I think The Premiership is the best competition in Europe so it is nice to play there.

i wonder if he looks at van nistlerooy and thinks, hes been a succcess in england, and then looks at kezman and goes.... he hasnt so its like a gamble if he will be good.

hes in the national squad too so unless its a really good offer, i cant see him leaving
