Tottenham: Marney pens new spurs deal

Tottenham's future looks rosier with starlet Dean Marney putting pen-to-paper on a two-year contract extension at White Hart Lane.

The 21-year-old England Under-21 international signalled his intent earlier this term with an impressive brace against Everton on New Year's Day.

Marney, a product of the club's academy, has been praised by sporting director Frank Arnesen for his mental attributes.

He does look a decent propect and the future looks good at Spurs.

I expect them to make a big imrovement next season and definatly gain an european slot....

i think the good thing here is... they are mixing good players who have experience along with good youngsters, i think Jol is doing a good job here
