Norwich goalkeeper Robert Green foiled Spurs in a goalless draw at White Hart Lane as Jacques Santini's side missed the chance to go third in the
Premiership table.
England coach Sven Goran Eriksson was watching from the stands on Sunday and saw several of his squad members impress, with Green, Paul Robinson,
Ledley King and Jermain Defoe all catching the eye with dazzling displays.
Defoe was particularly lively in the first half, rattling the woodwork with a low shot and forcing a goalline clearance from a volley.
But Green managed to keep put everything Spurs threw at him, pulling off superb saves to deny Defoe on several occasions and sub Robbie Keane late on.
England number one Robinson often had little to do but was called upon on 62 minutes when he made a vital block with his legs to deny Darren
Huckerby's close-range effort.
