Freddie Kanoute has revealed that he is unhappy at the rumours regarding his future and has pledged to stay at Tottenham.

The Mali international has been linked with a possible move to Southampton as part of a possible swap deal with James Beattie.

Beattie is thought to be considering leaving Southampton and rumours have suggested Kanoute could be offered as part of a deal for the striker.

Kanoute's White Hart Lane future has been the subject of intense speculation, but the former West Ham man has moved to put the record straight.
