Fabio Capello has expressed his desire to become manager of Manchester United. The Italian, currently in charge of Juventus, is targeting a Champions League and Serie A double this season. But Capello admits he wants to prove himself in the Barclays Premiership, and Old Trafford would be his ideal destination.

Would be a bold move in getting rid of Fergie and it might be the right time for him to go at the end of the season. It sounds like no official approach has been made but i wouldn't put it past them to have sounded him out already..

hmmm interesting, i remember a few years ago it looked like Fergie was going to leave the game and the name floating around like a hot air balloon was Capello.

These days, Fergie and his Man Utd team are going to play catch up on Chelsea, i know he beat Chelsea last time around but they were at home and it was Man Utd's best peformance in ages and Chelsea didnt play that well. I think the interesting fact about Mourinho vs Fergie is Red Faced Alex has only beat him once in 7 games

When you look at Capello, won the Seria A with Roma in his first season, 2nd the following season and then they went downhill but thats what those Rome clubs are like, done it again with Juve, his Real Madrid team were amazing he had, and his Milan team of the 90's were winning everything, am not tottaly sure but was it 3 seria A's and the European cup twice?

so Capello does sound like a choice, he can do things in his first season but i dont know if that will be enough to topple Chelsea Mourinho
