Somehow i don't see where he his comming from, they have lost there last two games to Norwich and Everton. Put up a terrible display in the last game where Gary Neville and Scholes both got sent off. And overall a poor season on their part, but for the fact that they are in the FA Cup final. They glory days look like have slipped away for now as Chelsea look like they are here to stay. Fergie will have his work cut out in the summer trying to sign some decent players, hoping they are not as bad as some he made over the past few seasons. But they won't be able to keep up with the spending power of Chelsea and may get left behind...

i dont know how Gibbs has got this in to his head? chelsea's season compared to man utds is way better.

everton i think are going somewhere, liverpool seem to be improving very much so, and arsenal have started to get back on track, man utd apart from the win against newcaslte, they havent been thrashing teams like they usually do at this stage of the season. usually they go on these amazing undeafeted runs but it aint happening this time around.

theres talk of rio leaving, talk of smith leaving i think aswell, keeper problems. and Fergie doesnt know how to beat a team with Mourhino managing it.

chelsea have a awesome team, from there keeper to attack, and getting better all the time, they have money, they have a good manager and the spirit there is amazing.

Giggs is talking about having better quality at man utd, i think chelsea have the better team and while they will get better, i dont think man utd are as good as they once where

Yeah, Man U have lost there fizz. Sorta happened when Beckham left... Although he doesn't look as good at Real than he did at United, he seem to make United tick. Fergie has a decent enough defence and Rooney/Ronaldo are outstanding but he needs another couple of real quality players.

He needs to go back to a 4-4-2 with attacking wide players, buy a goalkeeper and replace Keano. I still think a new manager would inject life back into the club. The thing is though they had a good run towards then end of the season, Chelski have just been superb and the season before was the Invincibles.

They had a bad start to the season and if they hadn't had so many key players out at some stage or another, they might have got a bit closer to Chelsea. I think they have good enough players still to make a challenge, but as Teflon says they do need to strengthen a bit.

With Arsenal recieving limited funds, it leaves the door open for them to make at least one or two major signings, Chelsea won't be able to sign them all lol!

Fergie has a list of players he wants, anyone noticed ther eisn't much paper talk to who he might want ect? I think he is keeping thing close to his chest and will make a sudden swoop for the players he wants.

He hasn't got much money though, the club won't bankroll massive spending in them summer. He's got to get rid of Kleberson and the like to raise some cash. I think O'Shea might end up going, not getting much of a look in at the moment.

He should be getting money now, thats if he is still the manager next season.

when you look at their team, where is the problem.

they have 28 million worth of Rooney up front, they have 20 odd million i think of Van Donkey, 12 million Saha and although they got smith on a free i think? he is easy 6 million plus

There midfield, scholes is good, giggs is good, ronaldo is great sometimes and keane, can stil do it.

even there defense is pretty good.

there problem is they aint consitent. i dunno if money can cure that, i think that more a team problem
