Manchester United: Kinnear ready to sell to Man United

Nottingham Forest boss Joe Kinnear has recommended wide man Andy Reid to Manchester United chief Sir Alex Ferguson.

Talented midfielder Reid is being actively pursued by Tottenham, who tabled a 3 million bid last week, but Kinnear believes the player can do better.

Forest rejected Spurs' approach in a move which prompted Reid to submit a transfer request - which the club also rejected.

Kinnear is holding out for a sum of 5 million and believes the player would prove a success at Old Trafford.
