Igor Biscan is in talks with Fenerbahce as he prepares to leave European champions Liverpool.

The Croatian midfielder enjoyed something of a renaissance at Anfield under Rafa Benitez, but his improving displays have not been enough to earn him a new contract.

Biscan revelled when being switched to the centre of midfield, with his displays in the UEFA Champions League being particularly impressive.

Besiktas are ready to rival Fenerbahce for Liverpool's Igor Biscan.

The Turkish outfit have tabled an offer for the Croatian midfielder and are waiting to see if Biscan will accept it.

Biscan seems set to leave Liverpool at the end of the month when his contract expires as Rafa Benitez has decided against offering him a new deal.
