Reports in France suggest that Djibril Cisse may make a brief return to first team football before the end of the season. The Liverpool striker was immediately ruled out for the year after sustaining a horrific injury against Blackburn Rovers in October. In the aftermath of the serious blow it was revealed that the tibia and fibula break could have ended his career, although the French international could now be in line for an emotional return to action this season.

That would be unbelievable if he manages to play this season. They could have done much better if he never got injured and i would like to see him come back just as good. He does look an exciting player and as a neutral thats what you want to see, quality players in the Prem..

Fit-again Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse has expressed his delight at returning to action. The Frenchman, who broke his leg last October, marked his return to action with a late substitute appearance in the draw at Juventus on Wednesday night. Cisse has admitted he has surprised himself by the speed of his recovery, but insists he is still not ready to start a game.

He has done ok, i don't think he will do any good this season. They most prob just want to get him on the pitch and kicking the ball. Make sure that his leg holds up and get back to some sort of fitness. I guess we won't see him back as good untill next season. It unreal that he is even on the pitch to be honest, he nearly had to have his leg amputated and his career could/would have been over..
