Fulham: Boa Morte signs new deal

Luis Boa Morte has ended speculation over his future by signing a new deal at Fulham. The Portuguese international has been linked with a possible move to Newcastle with Graeme Souness confirming his interest in the winger. However, Boa Morte has now ended Newcastle's hopes of bringing him to St James' Park by extending his stay at Craven Cottage. The new deal will keep Boa Morte at Fulham until the summer of 2008.

The Cottagers boss is becoming increasingly frustrated with speculation that the Portugal international will quit the club in the summer.

Newcastle United failed to sign the attacker earlier this month before Boa Morte signed a new contract with Fulham at the end of last week.
