West Ham United: Rio Coker for England?

West Ham United captain Nigel Reo-Coker has been tipped to earn a call-up to England's World Cup squad.

The 21-year-old has had a highly impressive Premiership campaign for West Ham - who have played well ahead of pre-season expectations. Now Reo-Coker's team-mate Anton Ferdinand - who himself has been linked with an international place - has suggested that Sven Goran Eriksson should look at his team-mate.

I would say that it would be well deserved if he got the call up. He was a steal when we bought him from Wimbledon for next to nothing. And if you have seen him play he is the closest thing in midfield you'll see to Roy Keane. Coker is an awesome talent and could go all the way...

I cant remember exactly but i think it was around the 1million mark...

When will anyone be ready for the big stage of internation football? He plays for the u21's and is the youngest captain in the Prem at 21. I think he will be able to handle it no problem...

He is one to consider and seems to be level headed. He did get in a lil trouble with Anton when they supposedly had there phones pinched and that a little while ago, but he seems to be taking things in his stride. Cant say the same for Anton as he seems to fancy himself as a bit of a playboy like his big brother Rio..
