Everton are considering a move for ex-Tottenham star Steffen Iversen. The 29-year-old is available on a free transfer after his contract with Valerenga expired last year. The Norwegian side are keen for Iversen to remain with them - but he is seemingly keen to try his luck elsewhere

When he first went to Spurs there was alot of noise about him, how good he was and going to be. But i think the noise was mainly from the Spurs supporters chanting 'what a load of rubbish'...

i think its fair to say, hes been a dud.

Dont see why Everton should buy him, best having a good look around before they decide

I remember seeing him play when he first went to Spurs and he did look good. But he always seemed to have one injury or another and never really improved. Everton have struggled this season after they had a great one last year. They need a pick-me-up but yeah your right i dont think Iverson would be the answer.

Looking at it, these new teams in the Prem this season (west ham, wigan) are doing really well, one reason i think is that they have young hardworking players, new managers to the top flight with new ideas. Maybe its time for these older guys with out-dated ideas ect to step aside and make way for the new younger breed of managers.

Rubbish....

Everton was on a good run untill last night, first time i have seen them play in ages and they didnt look good at all. They are lacking upfront badly and need to get Beattie some help.

yip, the one thing about them is they have a system which they play too. With Beattie up front and holding the ball up.

Any news on wether this move is going to happen?
