Chelsea: Crespo To Stay With Chelsea!

Hernan Crespo is to return to Chelsea next season, his agent has stated.

The Argentine has never hidden his desire to tie up a permanent deal at Milan - the club he spent the whole of last season on loan at.

However, Milan have been unable to agree terms with Chelsea and have now swooped to sign Christian Vieri on a free transfer from neighbours Internazionale.

Vieri's arrival means that Milan would have to sell before bringing Crespo in, which - at this stage - looks highly unlikely.

Crespo now seems to have accepted the fact that he will be returning to Chelsea next term and he may yet be given the chance to stake a claim for a first team place by boss Jose Mourinho.

I always thought Crespo wasnt given enough time in the P/ship to prove himself!
Just like Newcastle and Kluivert he was shiped off without being given long enough to find his feet!

I believe that this coming season Drogba and Crespo are going to form the most incredible partnership the P/ship has seen in a long time!!!!!

Hrmm dunno about the best but lets hope Crespo does alot better than his first stint at Chelsea.

hey, Crespo has been on fire recently, his last 2 games he gets into the right positions and could have scored 10 goals. Last season at Milan he was great! he just about scored in every Champions league game he played and now his strike rate at chelsea is much better.

Drogba too has imrpoved loads i think, he does alot for the team and can score.

I know Chelsea normally play just the 1 striker with 2 wide wingers but the way Crespo is playing, will he can with 2 strikers or leave Drogba out?
