FIFA have said Charlton Athletic striker Jason Euell is eligible to play international football for Jamaica.
Euell had his original claim turned down after it was discovered that the former Wimbledon star had represented England at Under-21 level in June
1997.
However, FIFA's players' status committee changed their mind after new evidence from the Jamaican authorities.
Euell did not hold a passport when he played for England Under 21s and FIFA have decided that he can play for Jamaica because of his father, who was
born on the West Indian island.
The 27-year-old is now eligible to play for Jamaica in Wednesday's World Cup qualifier against El Salvador.
He is already in Kingston after teaming up with the rest of the squad for Saturday's game against Panama which he was forced to miss because FIFA
refused to give him international clearance.
