Bolton Wanderers: Bolton out of UEFA

Marseille dont look like the side they was a few years ago that got them to the Euro final but they beat Bolton 2-1. I thought Bolton played ok and was going to win, but Marseille ground out the result. Boltons usual 'long ball' style was non-existant as they played the ball around well and looked top class in spells..

I guess it's a pos for wh fans & by the way, whens the 2nd leg against Bolton. Can't find out anywhere

We have Everton at home on the 4th of march and then we are meant to be playing Bolton in the cup on the 7th, but i'm looking on Skysports website right now and it says its postponed?

I cant see how it will be posponed as we have Bolton in the league on the 11th, Pompey on the 18th... And the Q/Finals are being played on the 21st.... Unless its going to be in-between the 11th and 18th.....

I checked sky sports too & thats what made me wonder, it must be then unless they arrange it for next week midweek

Well i remember Big Sam was complaining about how many games Bolton have to play if they got through the Uefa tie, it was like 4 games in a week or something like that. Maybe they switched it for that reason and now they wouldnt have needed to as Bolton got knocked out lol....

They did well, first season in Europe and were still there after xmas. Am sure Big Sam will have realised a difference in playing against foreign teams but more teams and players will know who Bolton are now

By the way, when was the last time West Ham were in Europe

Last time we was in Europe was in the UEFA in 2000, after we won the UEFA Inter Toto cup against Metz in the 1999-2000 season....
