Bolton Wanderers: Bolton make move for keeper

Lyn have confirmed that Bolton have made a bid for highly-rated goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi. Bolton have been chasing the Oman goalkeeper for some time and had a bid for the player turned down in January. The Trotters have now rekindled their interest and have made a new offer for Al-Habsi. Lyn sporting director Morgan Andersen revealed they have received an offer from Bolton and they have told them their valuation.

with him needing a work permit, would bolton not need to say hes going to be getting games?

That doesn't matter when you sign a player.

Work permits are granted to players for different reasons but mainly
if they play in a certain amount of international games during the past two years, or they demonstrate fantastic ability and promise of becoming full internationals. Transfer fee is also taken into consideration.

The home office have the final say if someone can come into the country to work but most of the time it is agreed.

Rynaldo they released Kevin Poole (hes like 45 or something lol) today and numerous other players. I think it was 8 in total... Looks like Big Sam is making way for quite a few summer signings...
