Contridictions and such in the bible

I simply asked, how could one man possibly fit all the species of the world into one boat, because to me this sounds more like a myth than history.

I believe in an old earth, as well. I believe in several great ages.

I also believe that at the end of one of those ages one guy was given a heads up by the Creator, and he saved himself, his family, and a whole bunch of critters...to start the new age.
