Arsenal: Wenger drops contract hint

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has intimated he will sign a new contract.
Wenger has just one year left on his existing contract and asked if there would be any problems with signing a new contract at Highbury, he replied:

"I don't think so. I have always been clear that I'm committed to the club and I don't think that will change.

"It's important for Patrick Viera to know that. There's no basic problem between Patrick and me. We have a good understanding and a good relationship."

Wenger added: "But he doesn't have to link his future with my future. He has to link his future with this club because he believes that is where he belongs and that is where he wants to win things."

They need to keep hold of Wegner, although i don't like the man he has done wonders for them.

It would be a massive blow for them if he doesn't sign a new deal. Not only has he done wonders it's the players he brings to the club on his reputation. If you don't have a big name manager it's hard to get the players to come and Wegner has great footballing contacts throughout the world.
