Arsene Wenger has ruled out the prospect of Arsenal sharing the new Wembley national stadium.

There has been speculation that the Gunners could share Wembley with the Football Association and even Tottenham if their proposed move to Ashburton Grove falls through.

But Wenger insisted if that happens then the only solution is for Arsenal to stay at Highbury.

Arsenal have insisted that Thierry Henry is not for sale at any price after defiantly fending off Chelsea's second attempt to sign him in six months.

Arsenal vice-chairman David Dein denied reports that Roman Abramovich had made a 50million bid for Henry after last Wednesday's Champions League tie against Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow.

Dennis Bergkamp took the goalscoring pressure off his highly-valued strike partner, Thierry Henry, as Arsenal just held on to beat Blackburn 1-0 and regain the Barclaycard Premiership lead.

Bergkamp struck early on and while Henry, the subject of interest from Chelsea and Real Madrid failed to match his normal high standards, Blackburn were unable to make the most of their second-half pressure.

Arsenal were instead indebted to goalkeeper Jens Lehmann, who made a handful of great saves, while Markus Babbel also had an effort ruled out for a foul.

Thierry Henry has pledged his long-term future to Arsenal but admitted he was in the dark over the club's financial stability.

Henry, who came second in FIFA's World Player of the Year award announced in Basle on Monday, was the subject of a reported 40million bid from Chelsea last week.

Arsenal turned it down and insist the French international is not for sale at any price but rumours persist that the Gunners may be tempted to cash in as they seek to raise funds for the building of their new stadium at Ashburton Grove.

Henry, however, insists he has no desire to leave Arsenal, whom he joined in 1999 after an unhappy spell at Juventus.

Wenger has already tied down Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira and Robert Pires to long contract extensions and he is now hoping to gain the signature of another key member of his squad as they open talks with Sol Campbell...

Arsene Wenger hopes not to buy anyone in January despite Arsenal's growing injury problems.

It looks like Wiltord will stay as Wenger said that he does not expect Sylvain Wiltord to go behind his back and walk out on Arsenal. But then again there is not much loyalty left in football anymore is there.

Wiltord is thinking now of moving in the summer.Wiltord, whose contract expires after the season ends, is still in discussions with the Highbury club but no deal has yet been reached.

West Ham have signed Arsenal goalkeeper Rami Shaaban on a one-month loan. The Hammers have been searching for back-up since selling England number one David James to Manchester City earlier this week.

Also it looks like that Arsene Wenger is interested in West Ham striker Jermain Defoe but insisted he would not make any move for him until this summer.

I'm not sure if wiltord will stay he doe's seem to want to go.

West Ham got a good keeper there i wonder if Bywater will stay in goal for them?

Good result for the Gunners today as Thierry Henry lifted Arsenal back to the top of the Premiership as his 18th and 19th goals of the season gave the Gunners a 2-0 victory over Aston Villa at Villa Park.Henry opened the scoring with a controversial free-kick after half-an-hour, and then added the decisive second from the penalty spot early in the second half.

Fernando Morientes has revealed that he has received no contact from Arsenal and is focused solely on maintaining his form at Monaco.
The Spanish international, who is on a season-long loan at the Principality outfit from Real Madrid, was recently linked with a summer move to The Gunners, but insists the speculation is merely 'paper-talk'.The 27-year-old claims he is very happy in France, and has not given his future beyond the end of the campaign serious thought.

Arsenal are going great guns and are still unbeaten in the league this season, they look to have one hand on the title already they beat Charlton yesterday and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger praised his side's wonderful start against Charlton but rued the misses which prevented the leaders from killing off the game.

Wenger spoke of them last season going unbeaten and everyone laughed but this year they are doing it and they don't look like losing a game!

Arsenal are running away with the league at the moment but they did last year and got caught by Man United, this time i think they are a better side, although they are real dirty in the tackle.

Thierry Henry faces a late test on his back injury ahead of the Premiership match against Liverpool as he battles to give Arsenal a major fitness boost.Arsene Wenger initially ruled Henry out of the games against Liverpool on Friday and Newcastle on Sunday after the Frenchman sustained an apparent hamstring injury in the midweek defeat by Chelsea. However, after a scan showed it was actually a back-related problem, Wenger has confirmed that his leading scorer would start one of the two games it is just a question of which one.

Arsene Wenger admitted he was running out of superlatives to describe Thierry Henry after the Frenchman's four-goal haul against Leeds left Arsenal on the brink of the Premiership crown. The Gunners can prepare to uncork the championship champagne after awesome Henry became the first Arsenal player in 13 years to hit four goals in a game as United were humiliated at Highbury.Wenger's men demolished their relegation-haunted opponents 5-0 to pile up a 10-point cushion at the top-flight summit and stretch their record-breaking unbeaten league run to 33 games.

Looks like they have both hands on the title now i can't see them losing..
