well. its certainly a rumour, though, Real have blasted back saying theres been no contact

Real Madrid chief Arrigo Sacchi has exclusively revealed to skysports.com that they have received no approach from Newcastle for Michael Owen and have no plans to sell the England ace.

Reports in England on Sunday had claimed that Newcastle had made a loan enquiry for the England international which was rejected by Real Madrid.

It was also suggested that Newcastle may come in with a firm offer for Owen in the summer as speculation continues to surround his future in Spain.

Didn't Real say last week they could get rid of all three, Beckham, Owen and christ ive forgotton his name again!

I wouldn't be surprised if Owen wanted a move back , it isn't as if he is getting first team footy.

Owen wont go anywhere, and even if he did he certainly wouldn't go to Newcastle lol. He's a world class player, all the big italian clubs e.t.c. would come in for him if it turned out he were available.

No way would he go to another Premiership club, he has betrayed us once and I seriously doubt he'd do it twice like that. I just can't see it happening, plus I doubt Chelsea would want him.

yeah, that does appear to be there MO (whoa! Owen's initials as well, is there something in that?
). Nah, I'm willing to bet money he'll still be a Madrid player next season.
