Deportivo La Coruna defender Cesar admits he is flattered at reports linking him with a move to England.
The Spain international has emerged as a target for Newcastle and Liverpool, and concedes he is attracted by the prospect of move to England.
The 27-year-old has 18 months left on his contract at Depor and is set to open talks on a new deal to keep him at the Riazor.
However, Newcastle are understood to be ready to hijack those talks and launch a bid to bring him to England in January.
The stopper admits thrashing out a new deal with Depor remains his priority but refused to rule out a switch to The Premiership.
