Newcastle United: Woodgate to leave?

Arsenal will rival Manchester United for £12m-rated Jonathan Woodgate if he leaves Newcastle this summer.
Woodgate is understood to be unhappy at St James' Park after a disappointing season which ended in failure to qualify for the Champions League.

Manchester United have been linked with a bid for the England defender, who will miss Euro 2004 through injury.

I can't see Woodgate leaving this summer unless he's more of a scumbag than I thought, or because Newcastle seriously need the money.

If he were to leave and everyone were interested though then I suspect the destination would be Arsenal. They're all a bunch of dirty bastards there so he should fit right in.

I can't see him leaving either he seemed to have settled in nicely. Newcastle didn't have that bad a season and i think they will add a few in the near future.
