Portsmouth: Pompey eye Danish starlet

Portsmouth have taken Danish Under-21 international Jonas Troest on trial.

The 19-year-old arrived in England over the weekend and will now spend the next few days looking to impress Velimir Zajec and his staff.

Troest is an imposing defender who has been described as one of the best young stoppers in his homeland.

He is currently plying his trade for Silkeborg, but they have now granted Pompey permission to take a close look at the teenager.
