Interesting one i read in the paper this morning, it was an interview Southgate had a few weeks ago where he thanked the chairman. He was quoted as
saying i would like to thank the chairman because the manager was wanting to sell the keeper Swarcher, Eghigho and Jimmy Floyd to raise money to bring
in new players.
Am guessing this was at the January Transfer window time, but the manager wouldnt allow them to be sold and now they have tottaly transformed. If
those 3 had left, would they have surived? would they have got to the final?
I guess it all depends on who was going to be brought in, but i have to say it looks like the chairman got it right rather than the manager hehe.
