Middlesbrough: Boro intrest in fletcher

Middlesbrough have targeted Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher for a loan swoop, according to reports in the North East.

The Scotland international, who scored his only United goal against Boro, is believed to be one of Steve McClaren's possible recruits for the close season.

Buoyed by Sir Alex Ferguson's declaration that he is willing to farm out more players next term, McClaren has reportedly already had talks with United over the 21-year-old's availability.

i think at the moment he will be kept and not out on loan, i think it depends if he signs a midfielder during the summer.

i aint sure he would get a game all the time for middlesborough either

They won't let him go, he is a good player. Unless Middlesborough want to stump up some serious money then he won't be leaving.
