Lazio's French midfielder Ousmane Dabo could leave the club in January.
Dabo, who has attracted the interest of several English clubs, has had limited opportunities at the Stadio Olimpico, and with Lazio's debt continuing
to cause fiscal strife, any outlets that could reduce their wage bill are being considered.
Last season, a string of English clubs including Manchester City, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Bolton all invested scouting time to look at the
26-year-old former Atalanta man.
The latest developments include additional interest from Blackburn Rovers and Tottenham Hotspur each of whom are looking to bolster their midfields
under their new coaches.
Dabo himself claimed in the close season that West Bromwich Albion had made an offer which he turned down, citing 'the fantastic environment' of Lazio
being too good to leave.
However, it seems that times have changed and with Dabo keen to catch the eye of the French national team, first-team football and a switch to The
Premiership may now be on the cards in January.
