yer, hes done a great job when you consider the state john barnes and dalglish had the team in, i think this is his 5th season now and he has won the league 3 out of 4, the time we didnt win it was when we finished the season on equal points and they won a goal difference, at that time though we where concentrating on europe a bit too much and rangers only had the league and won it

his name was constantly linked with liverpool, but at least that cant happen now cos they have benite and he will do a job there, man utd though, maybe one day

milan picked up a good victory of seria A giants lazio the other night, despite playing with 10 men for part of the match. having been defeated by messina the other week it looks like that score has kicked them into action and will want to erase it from there memory

Ukrainian striker Andrei Shevchenko was delighted with his side's victory over Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico.

Shevchenko scored twice as Milan came from a goal behind to record their second win of the season.

Young Celtic goalkeeper David Marshall is anxious for his side to get their first UEFA Champions League points when they face Milan on Wednesday night.

Celtic travel to the San Siro knowing they need a result to keep their European dream alive.

ahhhh bummer, celtic have been defeated by milan after milan scored two goals in the last 2 minutes

Two goals in the last two minutes stunned Celtic as Milan won 3-1.

The Italian champions took the lead in a first half they dominated as Andrei Shevchenko made it 1-0, and Celtic were lucky the deficit was not worse at half time.

Yeah get rid of him, he isn't that good a keeper.

Hey can we have John Hartson back?

hehe....yer. hedman, not sure whats happened to him, am sure he was good for coventry at one point, maybe it was due to him being tested more there, he cost us in a few games to be honest, there was a game in europe when he made a right mess (cant remember who it was against) and his loan spell at the italian club didnt go very well i dont think. his wife seems to get more publicity than he does, she some kind of model.

but then again, our sub keeper is rab douglas, and he aint much better, he costs us on plenty of occasions

hartson is supposed to be sitting down over this weekened i believe, at some point to have talks, maybe its 2morrow. would hartson and sheringham be good together though? what about the pace up front? maybe berkovic would show up again

Ohh Sheri and Hartson up front.....

Pace? we have Etherington on the left and we could play 'Shrimp Head' Harewood on the right. That enough pace? lol!

Hartson was great at the Hammers and i was a bit gutted he went. I used to see him over the greyhound track with Joe Kinnear and Vinny Jones....

sounds like it would be too fast wingers and sheringham and hartson are good in the air, i dunno if he is too old to move on now, i dont think he the type of player who will be playing when he 32 possibly, i think he will be wrecked by then (injured too much)

Yeah he always did have a problem with his weight. Maybe i shouldn't have bought him too many drinks over the track lol!!!

I tell ya something though, that Vinny Jones was a scary man lol!!!
