Coca-Cola Divisions: Marshall retires for WBA

West Bromwich Albion midfielder Lee Marshall has been forced to retire from professional football through injury.

The 26-year-old fractured both his tibia and fibula in his right leg whilst playing on loan at Hull City last April.

Marshall had hoped to recover from the injury - that saw him sidelined for 12 months - and despite making a comeback for The Baggies' reserves two months ago the midfielder has decided to call it a day.

i feel sorry for the guy, 12 months out and he tries come back and that took alot of guts and effort and he gets injured again. no luck
