Coca-Cola Divisions: Yahia switching Saints

St Etienne are on the brink of landing Southampton defender Alaeddine Yahia.

The former Guingamp man is expected to be the last winter recruit for Les Verts, with a loan deal set up with Harry Redknapp's Saints.

Yahia signed a three-year contract with the South Coast strugglers last summer but has yet to make his Premiership bow.

Southampton will continue to pay some of the 23-year-old's wages, but St Etienne have the option to purchase the Tunisian on a permanent basis at the end of the season.

if hes going out on loan, i cant see him having a future at the club
