Championship side Leeds United have strengthened their squad after bringing in Southampton's Leandre Griffit on a month's loan.
The Whites had John Oster on loan from Sunderland, but were forced to send the wide man back to the North East due to breaches of discipline.
Blackwell has been frantically scouring the market and is delighted Griffit has joined as it allows star striker David Healy to play through the
middle.
The 20-year-old Frenchman, like Nathan Blake, is able to feature for The Whites in their FA Cup clash against Birmingham City at the weekend.
