Harry Redknapp is reportedly set to make Liverpool duo Igor Biscan and Stephane Henchoz his first signings since becoming Southampton manager.

Croatian midfielder Biscan, 26, and Swiss defender Henchoz, 30, will both be out of contract next summer.

Liverpool are thought to be willing to accept about £1m for the pair but the duo may decide to wait until the end of the season before making a move.

will be interesting to see what happens, i think with henchoz, he was good, but he aint getting any action these days, and from what i have read on here, pace and match fitness was the problem with him.

biscan though, its always been hard for him to get in the team, as theres always been plenty competition in there. am sure he arrived though with a good reputation and lots of potential. but it never happened, well so far anyway.

i think get the 2 of them for a million is a good deal for both parties, as they aint gonna feature much for liverpool

I think it will be a good signing for them as they dont have much better. Biscan will be the better out of the two and both for 1 million would be a steal!

i think the 2 guys are pretty similar in the way that they are both big guys, maybe this is too toughen up the team. wonder if he could maybe get them on loan?

Looks like there is other teams interested in Henchoz so they might not get them yet...

Liverpool midfielder Igor Biscan has pledged to stay at Anfield.

The Croatian international has been strongly linked with a move away from Liverpool during the transfer window.

Spanish duo Valencia and Atletico Madrid along with Southampton and Celtic have been credited with an interest in the player.

Benitez has previously admitted that he could be willing to let Biscan leave, but the injury problems at Anfield have prompted a rethink with Xabi Alonso out for three months.

Biscan has informed Benitez that he wants to stay at Anfield and fight for his place.

i think it still loooking like henchoz will go, but biscan staying, might work well for him as there a chance he will get more action.

with the defender coming in, and a striker looking to sign too. maybe a midfileder aint wanted
