Coca-Cola Divisions: Johnson agrees Eagles deal

Crystal Palace have been handed a major fillip with the news that star striker Andy Johnson has agreed a new deal.

The 23-year-old's goals played a key part in lifting The Eagles to The Premiership and the club made it one of their priorities to retain the services of the marksman.

Eagles chairman Simon Jordan reached agreement with Johnson and his advisors on Wednesday and the club expect the forward to etch his name on the five-year deal in the near future.
