Ecuador star Angel Fernandez is heading to England it is understood that he is set to link up with compatriot Ivan Kaviedes at Crystal Palace.

The 33-year-old has over 60 caps to his name and has been a regular in the national side since 1991.

Fernandez, nicknamed 'The Knife', is now heading for England to discuss a move.

Juan Donoso, president of El Nacional, has confirmed that Fernandez was on his way to England.
