Departing Norwich striker Iwan Roberts is considering a move to First Division Gillingham.

Roberts has been told his contract will not be renewed for the Canaries' Premiership campaign and the former Wales international believes he can still do a job in the First Division.

The Gills have shown interest in the past for Roberts and boss Andy Hessenthaler is again keen to take him to Priestfield.

David Bentley does not expect to walk straight into the Norwich team next season just because he has been playing with the likes of Thierry Henry at Arsenal.

The England Under-21 international, on Thursday moved to Carrow Road on a season-long loan deal as Arsene Wenger looked to give the attacking midfielder some valuable first-team experience he would be unlikely to get at Highbury.

Its a toss up between Norwich and Palace on who is going to finish bottom. Norwich might have had a good season in the first div but they are no where near good enough for the prem.

Danny Mills would "be happy" to make a return to Norwich, if the right deal was on offer.

The Leeds defender seems unlikely to return to Middlesbrough next season, despite having just completed a successful loan spell at the Riverside Stadium.

Given the financial problems at Elland Road following the Yorkshire side's relegation to the Football League, high-earning Mills - reported to be on around 40,000 a week - looks set to be sold this summer.

The full-back has already been linked with a move back to the club he began his career with before leaving for Charlton six years ago.

Robert Green maintains he has no interest in leaving Norwich as they prepare for their first season back in the Barclays Premiership for nine years.

The 24-year-old impressed as the Canaries won the First Division title last season, earning a call-up to the England squad for the friendly against Sweden in March.

Green is reported to be attracting interest from Arsenal, who earlier this month agreed to send teenage midfielder David Bentley to the newly-promoted side on a season's loan.

However, the Norwich goalkeeper, currently recovering from minor ankle surgery, has no intention of leaving Carrow Road just yet.

Norwich have signed defender Simon Charlton from Bolton.

The 32-year-old full-back has joined for an initial 250,000 fee on a two-year deal, with the Canaries having the option of extending his contract for a further year.
