Does that make it rough on your body, or is it pretty easy to get over the shift in training schedule?

Physically its just a case of resting up for a bit then coming again, although it really can be a big emotional and phsychological blow knowing that you have trained so long to fight and there is nothing at the end of it. All that training it seems has been for nothing....most all boxers dont get paid to train remember. I have been at my peak ready to fight twice this year, at the end of february and now in beginning of May, yet fights have fallen through. This is the way I make a living, so as yu can imagine I am pretty teed off that I haven't been able to earn yet this year. how would you feel if you worked for 5 months and didn't get paid for it?....because that's what it feels like.

Cheers.

That sucks about the fight, good luck when you finally get it on.

It must be hard for people like you who only earn when you compete, just like Athletles and such like who rely heavily on sponsorship and stuff to get by. I remember watching a program on the Olympics awhile back and what some of the sportsmen/women had to do just to take part. Some of them paid for it out of there own pockets or went into debt just to compete.

I will be fighting either Jon Honney or Chill John, still to be confirmed. All professional fighter records can be found at boxrec:

www.boxrec.com...

Enter the name of the boxer and his/her record will come up.

P.S. Disregard any reports you may see on websites of Silence Saheed as being my opponent, because this will not be the case.

i notice its going to be one out of those 2.

about statistics, can that play on your mind at all? like, say a guy your up agasinst has this amazing record. Its about numbers, do you put them to the back of your head? or can they be intimadating?

Stats don't mean much at all. Look at my 6 losses - I have lost 3 of them proper. The other 3 were blatant home town decisions i.e I was stuffed by the referee.

I don't look at the statistics of fighters, I look at the opponents they have fought, lost to and beaten. Having been involved in the game for so long, you gain an understanding of each fighter's capability in your weight class, so you pick up a lot about an opponent by looking at who they have fought. If a fighter has a 20-0 record, most of those names could be journeymen or novices, so the 20-0 tag is misleading then to the general public and those not with a great understanding of the game.

It's not the quantity, it's the quality of opposition they have faced that matters.

Shows usually start at 18:00 or 18:30, and usually go on till about 22:00. Plenty of time for work on monday.

Well, I don't see people rushing to buy tickets from here. Come on, the show is a week on sunday (19th), and the tickets are nearly all sold out for the entire show.

The first few people who email me for tickets can have ringside tickets (which usually cost £50 pounds) at a price of £30 pounds. Standard tickets have all sold out.

i can't do better than that, so there is no excuse now.

Paypal is the quickest way of payment, or direct bank transfer. Although postal order would also be viable, as there is still time to get the tickets through the post to you. cheque is an option, although you would have to write your credit card number on the back of it, as obviously I would have to trust you that it clears!!lol

whichever way, the tickets will be posted to you by the quickest means possible on receipt of payment.

Thanks.

I just heard that they may just show the main title fights, so like I said - it's not guaranteed that they will show mine
