Britain's Audley Harrison could lose his WBF title because of inactivity.
The 33-year-old heavyweight defended his belt on 19 June against Tomasz Bonin but missed a six-month deadline to declare his next title bout.
"I have great respect for Audley, who is a true professional, but we have to declare his title vacant," WBF world president Mick Croucher told BBC Sport.
