Dean Phillips says he will try to take the fight out of the judges' hands when he meets Kevin Bennett.

The Llanelli man takes on Commonwealth lightweight champion Bennett in Hartlepool's Borough Hall on Friday (19 November).

"Bennett is basically a defensive fighter, and I'm not going to get any favours if it goes the distance," the 28-year-old told the South Wales Echo.

"I'll be going out to try to stop him and claim the title."

Ok, i'll email ya on your site.

We get alot of traffic here so it should be good exposure for ya.

Maybe were talk about sponsorship if we can afford it.

Yes sponsorship would be great.

Matchroom are due to feature me on a show in the middle of february, with hereford being mentioned as a possible venue, but its all early days yet. I am already in preliminary training for it though.

It is gonna be televised by Sky Sports. I would have your website advertised on my fight shorts and website for the right price!!

Let me know

Welcome to Sportz Dynamite, nice to have you here!

Are you still on track to return to the ring in mid-February?

I'll have to check my local listings, see if I can catch your next fight.

I dunno mate, i have never met Barry Hearn in person, he has his team running the boxing side of it. Barry Hearn only gets involved now and then.

I lost the last fight on points in his hometown, but am looking at coming back in February 2005. First 12 rounder for me so will be able to build on that.
