Alex Arthur admits he has paid the price for being tagged one of British boxing's brightest hopes.

The 26-year-old defends his IBF intercontinental super-featherweight title against Ghana's Eric Odumase in his home city of Edinburgh tonight.

Arthur is still on the comeback trail after his explosive three-knockdown defeat to Michael Gomez at Meadowbank a year ago.

And he knows he has a lot more to do to live up to the hype which comes with being one of Scotland's best amateurs in generations.
