Boxing: WARREN HITS BACK AFTER AUDLEY SLUR

Promoter Frank Warren has taken a swipe at Audley Harrison after the former Olympic super-heavyweight champion dismissed reports he had agreed to fight British heavyweight champion Matt Skelton.

Warren on Wednesday set a press conference date to announce the pair had agreed to a much-awaited fight following weeks of negotiations.

But Harrison immediately responded by announcing he would not be attending any press conference and that no such agreement was in place.

However, Warren released a statement on Thursday via his Sports Network group saying he and Harrison were due to meet up in the morning to tie up any loose ends prior to the press conference.
