Boxing: Winters is left out in the cold

Mark Winters' British title hopes have taken a blow, according to manager Owen McMahon.

Winters had been promised a shot at British champion Graham Earl but now Frank Warren's outfit Sports Network have offered him a Celtic title fight with Scotland's Martin Watson on September 10.

Winters has turned down a second meeting with Watson, having engaged in a controversial draw with the Scot back in October.
