Boxing: Rubillar battles Arce for WBC crown in Sept

Another Filipino boxer takes to the spotlight as WBC No. 1 junior flyweight Juanito Rubillar challenges reigning champion Jorge "Travieso" Arce of Mexico in September.

Reports coming out of Tijuana, Mexico where Arce trains indicate that the Filipino southpaw, who is the mandatory challenger to Arce, gained the chance after Arce failed agree terms for a unification bout with IBF titleholder Victor Burgos.

Burgos has chosen to fight WBA champ Rosendo Alvarez of Nicaragua.
