British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Matt Skelton insists he would have no fears fighting the former undisputed world champion Mike Tyson.
Skelton is booked to fight an as-yet-unnamed American opponent at York Hall, Bethnal Green, on July 30 as part of the build-up to the Sky Sports screening of Tyson's clash with former British and Commonwealth champion Danny Williams in Louisville, Kentucky.
Skelton said: "I would have liked the fight and would have taken it with a view to winning it if I'd been offered.
"I can't speak for Williams but hopefully he isn't going just for a pay cheque. Tyson was phenomenal and we all looked up to him but I would take that fight and hope to win it.
