The James Toney bandwagon has no vacancies. Ever since Toney destroyed the great former champ Evander Holyfield, the hype that has followed "Lights out" is amazing. It seems the former Middleweight Champ has become a Heavyweight savior for many Boxing fans. To me, he is just a blown up Middleweight with a big mouth. He is great for quotes and keeps things interesting but I can't bring myself to say he is a true Heavyweight contender. I know he beat Evander, but I also know that John Ruiz did the same. Chris Byrd boxed circles around the "Real Deal" as well. Evander Holyfield hasn't been competitive for many years, so I don't think the Toney victory over him is all that surprising.

I saw James Toney in Vegas a few months back and he is not a big guy. I have a hard time seeing him beat the big boys in the divison. His lack of reach will cause huge problems for him. I realize the Division is weak, but the only guy I would pick him to have a chance against would be Lamon Brewster. Vitaly[/q Klitschko would pick him apart fairly easily and Chris Byrd would win a one sided decision. As much as the following statement pains me to write, John Ruiz would maul his way to another boring decision over "Lights out".

Man i said before the Toney v Holyfield was a farce. Holyfield is washed up and anyone would have beaten him. Now the fight before that Toney did well and i was inpressed. As for taking on the decent heavyweights he has no chance, he lacks power and is too small, he would get his azz whipped all day long.
